Gail Hardman-Woung, LCSW     She/Her

Gail is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 25 years experience working with children and adults from the hardest places. She is an expert in her field. Gail is trained in traditional therapies, but  favors right brain treatment protocols with high rates of efficacy such as Life Span Integration (LI), Internal Family Systems, (IFS) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Gail has advanced training in these protocols. She holds year long certificates in Attachment, and Foster & Adoption Therapy.  She is an EMDR Consultant and a Certified Safe & Sound clinician. Twenty three years ago, Gail transracially foster-adopted three older children as a single mother.  She married, had a birth child as well.  Gail and her husband raised their children, and now enjoy six  grandchildren.

After a car accident, Gail was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury (TBI), Neurofeedback was a Godsend for her. She became curious about Neurofeedback and all the ways that it was being used. She wanted to get Neurofeedback to as many people as possible! Her private practice was too full to accommodate Neurofeedback, so she called on some friends to help and together, they created Portland Neurofeedback, LLC.  The PATH Center; (Portland Attachment & Trauma Healing) is a sister clinic to Portland Neurofeedback in the same building. All the clinicians at The PATH Center are trained in LI and EMDR. Several are trained in IFS. PATH therapists consult with Gail on a weekly (if not more) basis.
