Pam Wood, LPC, LAT  She/Her


As a Licensed Professional Counselor & a Licensed Art Therapist, Pam creates a space where the creative process can aid in your healing. Pam has 30 years of experience working in schools, day treatment centers and community mental health clinics. Pam works with  adults, teens and children. 

With a warm and supportive style, Pam uses a trauma-informed, intersectional, strengths-based approach. She has supported clients through grief and loss, anxiety, depression, ADHD, parenting challenges, learning disabilities, abuse, foster placement, parental substance abuse, divorce and racial trauma, and has years of experience working with LGBTQiA+, immigrants, and refugees.

 

As a single parent of two foster-adopted teens, Pam knows first-hand how developmental trauma affects a child’s development and is a dedicated student in the neurobiology of stress and trauma. She integrates art-making, narrative therapy, attachment theory, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, Life Span Integration and EMDR into her work with clients.
